Multihoster Review

I finally manage to get my ISP to upgraded to 300Mbp/s or roughly 37.5MB/s from 100Mb/s.

My test equipments are connected by 1Gbp/s wired router and machine hosted by i7 4770K with 240GB SSD drive. A very typical home computer and network setup.

jDownloader was used for all downloads and links of files are verified by jDownloader of status. BTW great thing about Premiumize.me is they had added another layer of security therefore you will now enter another set of userid and pin instead of your account userid and password. Great job from them as I always never know who might use my password.

The download speeds are recorded in MB/s. I believe my fibre speed to international line tops at 20MB/s therefore you will not see any result above that.

Things to note when reading the numbers:
  • Down - Stated on their website that it is not available
  • Error - Stated on their website that it is available but download failed
  • Not Supported - Not supported on their website
Please use the reference link if you find my review helpful. I spend hours searching for files and stare at the download progress.

Usenet on Premiumize

One thing that I love about Premiumize was that it provided a wide range of services all under one price. Previously Premiumize usenet service was only limited to 5 connection, each connection was 100KB/s which gives me 500KB/s overall. Can't complain it as it was bundle and more gimmicky to me. Recently I saw the news ticker on their website and stated they had raised the limit to 20 connections and each connection was *220KB/s (*calculated with my Max speed of 4400KB/s).The recent speed increase made this service less gimmicky but more of a value add service they provide. Can't wait for their next speed increase (stated on their website).

Ultimate Speed Guide Multihost

This is the ultimate guide and most detailed speed guide for all three service provider against all file host. I took a few hours to consolidate all the results so if you appreciate on what I did, please support me by using my reference link on this page.

Besides Extabit, most file hosting site are working. Real-Debrid is the worst performing site as most of the 0 are actually "Error". To my surprise AllDebrid did really well as I use to have problems downloading from most site.

Premiumize is the faster multi host service that one can wish for. It is extremely fast and produce no "Error" downloads.

Premiumize vs AllDebrid speed review 2 - Uploaded.net

All Debrid Refer Link : Alldebrid speed review on Uploaded:

6.6MB/s was the speed I gather when I'm downloading a file via Uploaded thru AD.

Premiumize Refer Link : Premiumize.me speed review on Uploaded

10.4MB/s that I got when I'm downloading the exact same file from Premiumize. Premumize promises a good speed but in the expense of Filehost support.

Like what I sad on the first review, Alldebrid gives the most support of file host but some of the file host have poor speed or an error. It really comes down on the what you need and the connect/service provider you have. If you are using 100Mpbs or above, I strongly recommend Premiumize.

Premiumize vs All Debrid Speed review - Letitbit, RapidGator

Premiumize + All Debrid Speed review - updated May 2013

Alright guys, based on my referrer sign up (I don't make a living off this), almost 70% of you people sign up for Premiumize. 30% AllDebrid and 0% for Real Debrid. Not sure why RD is at 0% since I rated them as the fastest service provider out there. I'm going to skip RD since I do not have their active account as of this moment.

Premiumize Refer Link : Premiumize.me speed review on Letitbit:
Here is the speed I gotten from Letitbit via Premiumize off my 100Mbps line.
The single connection limit was around 500KBps hence 20 connections open I've managed to max out around 11.7MBps. below 8 mins to complete my 5.5GB download.

All Debrid Refer Link : Alldebrid speed review on Letitbit:
I'm unable to run Letitbit test on AD appears that they no longer supports it.

All Debrid Refer Link : Alldebrid speed review on RapidGator:
Since I didn't manage to get Letitbit on AD, I set out to search for a compatible link between Premiumize and All Debrid. Rapid Gator give me 1330KBps off my 100Mbps line. Rather disappointing since I'm unable to get pass 2 connections.

Premiumize Refer Link : Premiumize.me speed review on RapidGator:
Armed with the same link as above, Rapid Gator was much faster with 7066KBps, I saw it hover above 8000KBps but it was not constant.

Since I do not have much time in comparing all of the filehost available, I'll slowly populate the different file host when I have the time.

File Host

Everyone is asking why do I have to pay to download a file?

One good reason is that uploaders to a file host wants to earn money and file hosting website pays them well. So the "premium" content that you can find now are on popular hosting servers the moment they are released.

Why not just use bittorrent? Well unless you are highly skilled in hiding yourself behind multiple VPNs, using bittorrent is the worst when it comes to identifying you as an individual. Private organisation loves to hunt downloaders from bittorrent as your IP address is well made available to them.

File host offers you the protection against them by hiding your IP but not email address (differs on which country the file hosting company is based) when you sign up for. Look at megaupload where the whole site was shutdown and the user email account are vulnerable.

Multi host offers the benefit of all the above and gives you the option to download from multiple sites. In addition, if the main file host went down, they do not capture your IP address but the multi host IP address. I have yet to hear any multi host website going down because of law makers so the multi host environment gives you an additional layer of protection.
